Think about a goal that you are working towards. Maybe it's getting your triple pirouette or scoring a goal in a hockey or soccer game. Maybe it's getting an A on your next math test... Whatever it is, write it down on a piece of blank paper then close your eyes and IMAGINE yourself achieving this goal. Watch yourself as if you are watching a movie—picture it all in your mind, everything leading up to "the moment". All that you had to do to get there, the steps you needed to take, all the practice and hard work that you had to put in. How did you feel achieving this goal? Write that down on your paper. What did you need to do to achieve your goal? Write out all the steps that you needed to take. Now write down 3-5 things that you are going to start doing to achieve this goal. For example, if your goal was to write a book you may want to
